Bibico

Last year I had an amazing opportunity to work with local fashion designer Nieves Ruiz, lead designer and company owner of Bibico.

Bibico is an ethical clothing brand known for its simple and effortless style, made with natural materials, produced in fair trade cooperatives.

I was asked to help design a new print for their Spring/Summer 14 range along the theme of spots and stripes and the chosen design has now been put into production and is now available for sale. Both online and in their new store which has just opened up in Bath.

This was an incredible opportunity working alongside a designer and to a specific brief. It has been so exciting to see the final design having been made into clothing and as part of a collection. It has been a completely new way of working and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Copenhagen

For the past three months I have had the amazing opportunity to intern with Fusion CPH in Copenhagen which has been a fantastic start to the year. It has been such an amazing experience since finishing my Masters in September last year.

Copenhagen is such an incredible city, completely driven by design and with a unique style. It has been very easy to settle in here and feel at home even if it is temporary. There has been so much to see from traditional architecture to modern and clean interiors. Traditional Scandinavian style.

Not only have I learnt an incredible amount in the last three months but it has been really inspirational and amazing to experience a new culture and surroundings.
