Masters final exhibition

Just a few more photos of my final collection in the Bath School of Art and Design MA exhibition 2013. 

Masters hand in!

So I have been quiet on her for a while, working on my final masters collection! I haven't taken proper photographs of the collection yet as its currently being assessed, which means I am finished!! But here is a sneak peek of my 'Space' collections! 

These are just a few images that I have taken throughout the last few weeks. 

New Designers part 1, 2013

Last week I had the fantastic opportunity to exhibit some work at New Designers for the second time.

As I am still studying I exhibited a selection of work from throughout my Masters so far and had some really positive feedback. 

New Designers was really strong this year with some incredible new and talented designers. It was so inspiring to see. Congratulations to anyone who took part! 

Work in progress

I have just started a new project based on space, this is one of the drawings I have been working on. Based on a photograph of a moon crater. 

Tiles

For this smaller unit I explored tiles and architectural patterns.  

Canal boat unit

I have recently finished another two units of my masters, which means only one third left to go! I looked at canal boats as inspiration for my larger unit. With florals from the traditional style decorations and geometrical from the engineering and structures of the boats. 

Weather experiments

Experiments with layering prints and simple dress shapes to convey how they may look as garments.
